Paleo Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef

  • 3/4 lb ground pork

  • 1 medium onion diced

  • 4 garlic cloves minced

  • 1/3 cup almond flour

  • 1 egg whisked

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • red pepper flakes

  • 24 oz. pasta sauce

Directions

  • Heat oven to 350°.

  • Heat a pan on medium with 2 Tbsp of olive oil. Saute the onion for 5-7 minutes.

  • Add salt and garlic, cook for one minute.

  • Remove from heat and set aside.

  • In a mixing bowl add the ground beef, pork, egg, almond flour, parsley, sauteed onions and garlic, and red pepper flakes to taste.

  • Heat pan with 2 Tbsp olive oil. Add meatballs and brown the outside, but do not cook through.

  • Add pasta sauce and meatballs to baking tray and cook for 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
